This is a Warning About a Dress Site Scam

You must be very careful when Purchasing Your Wedding Dress, as there are a lot of Scammers out there.

We have personal experience with Sweety Wedding.com. Believe me when I say this site will Scam You. They are Bridal Dress Scammers.

My wife wanted a dress because she was going to her niece's wedding, and we found this very nice looking site

It has every kind of dress you would want to attend a wedding, a One-Stop Wedding Online Store. But whatever you do

Do not part with any money

Because you will not get your dress and you will not get a refund

Although They Will Promise You One.

We used PayPal when placing our order, but unfortunately PayPal has a problem. Their problem is they have a 45 day rule, in other words if you have not lodged a claim within 45 days of making your purchase, PayPal will not accept your claim, and like us, you will be on your own.

I have spoken to PayPal on several occasions but they will not take up my complaint as a claim. So, as I cannot get a refund from Sweety Weddings, putting up this site to let everybody know that Sweety Weddings is a Scam Site, is the only option open to me. If I only save one couple from being very, very disappointed along with not loosing their hard earned cash, then it will be worth my effort.

I will now detail the contacts we had with Sweety Wedding, and you will see that they know about PayPal's 45 day rule because they string out the days.

I will now copy e-mails and proof of payment to PayPal. You will see that they even misspell words so you think they are Chinese. I have removed my name, delivery address and e-mail address for obvious reasons, however, if any one wishes to contact me they can do so by e-mailing

I do not understand a couple of points;
Before I placed the order I asked if the dress would be delivered before my wife left to attend a wedding in South Africa, the answer was YES.
I paid the extra so that the dress would defiantly be finished in 12 to 14 days, so why would it take a further 16 days to get to us.
The confirmation of the colour should never have been needed because it is one of your colour's on your site and not a new one that my wife asked for. On your site you ask for the number or name of the colour, I did not find a number on the chart but as the colour is displayed on your site I did not see a problem in giving the name. As it turns out that was very wrong.
My wife is now very upset as this dress was ordered for her to wear to her nieces wedding.
If we go ahead can you please tell me when the dress would be delivered to me?
I would appreciate your comments on the above points.

Sorry for the misunderstanding! There is slight difference between color chart and real fabric, in order to make the dress as your will we need your confirmation. Also I will report your conditon to my manager, he will take proper measurement tio make sure you can have your dress before the wedding!

Well it is great to finally get confirmations of what has happened. My wife's nieces wedding has already taken place so my wife had to purchase another dress in South Africa for that occasion.
Because of that, this order is really not needed and the dress would only hang in her wardrobe never to be used because peoples sizes do change and if in a years time she wanted a dress to go to another wedding it would more than likely need altering. Is it possible to receive a credit?

In between my next e-mail I phone PayPal and politely got told about their 45 day rule

Another week and still no refund, what is happening at Sweety Wedding?
I am getting to the point of thinking that Sweety Weddings is a Scam Site. No refund when promised, when I try to phone no human answer, only music for around 50 seconds and then it cuts off. I will need to check if this is changed at a high rate, if it is then it will confirm that Sweety Weddings is a Scam Site as you are also making money out of me when I try to phone.
If you do not reply with a refund in the next 24 hours I will take it my suspicions are founded and I will need to take some serious actions.

Well that is my story, and you probably think that I brought it on myself, because in all the years I have used PayPal I did not know it has a 45 day rule, I just thought they would stop scam sites that are only there to rip you off.
